:Picture of the Post: I just think this picture is so bad, its funny. This is at abbott creek. Abbott creek is pretty much fresh melted snow off the Mountain, the water was so cold!

June 28
Hello everyone, this is Maggie, coming from Crater Lake's frat house. In the past few days i've done a lot of traveling and adventuring. On Sunday, Kaitlin, Anne and myself went to Union Creek. Union Creek is home of a restaurant that serves homemade pies. After having the pie, we decided that Sunday was pie day. I had very-berry pie that had marionberry, rubarb, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and I don't even know what else, but it was amazing! After sunday pie day, we hiked a little bit and went to the lower camp grounds for some BBQ. I caught my first trout at the camp ground, it was exciting. Later that night I traveled to Klamath Falls to stay with anne for the night. Anne has an apartment there and at Crater. We got a beer at a place called Chicken and Cheers. Going to a place with this name should give a clue to how entertaining and country this town is. On Monday morning, I got to go to my first grocery store, in klamath falls, since i've been on the Mountain. Then later Monday I got to see Diamond Lake, since the north entrance if finally open. Diamond lake was pretty. It is one of the lakes you can see a snow capped mountain from, and still swim in it. Diamond lake will be the place where I get to go this fourth of July and watch fireworks! I am sure that the show will not be as good as Uncle John's at the MBI, but it will have to do this summer. In closing, My two days off ended with a move to the top of the Mountain to rim dorm. Rim dorm is a glorified frat house. It is a very social place, and I no longer have to ride the shuttle work. Both are advantages to my summer experience. I have two new roommates who are both from Eugene, OR. They seem pretty cool, they both like harry potter:)
