Today was the first day I had to put gas into the jeep. The jeep is just as old as I am, 89, and the gas tank is behind the rear license plate. I’m sure you can only imagine the scene I made at the station. I’ve left Spokane for Pasco, Washington. Pasco is about two hours southwest from Spokane. I am here for the next day hanging out with Barrel and Connie and to watch the girls play soccer. Last year Connie discovered a town called Lind, Washington. She and girls went there on a whim and found a town festival, complete with a demolition derby. After the girls’ games today were going to Lind, it should be a ‘hooha’ of a time.
Aside from the hills of Washington I drove through today, one of the best sights was a guy driving him camper with a parrot on his shoulder.
