The past few days have been super busy, and have gone by reasonably fast. This week was my first official week of a full schedule. The week went well and I'm really getting the hang of my position. The cafe received two new employees, which was exciting for me because I’m not the new girl anymore. Instead of settling for a job at the camp ground's front desk, I decided to stay in the Cafe' for the summer. I've tried to keep as much as an open mind as possible to everything that has been happening, and experience is experience. The cafe' will be fun and experience. Since I've settled with an entirely different position, I get to move to another dorm at the park. I am fine with the move because the dorm I will be moving to is a social dorm. To make clear of this lifestyle for my followers, I'll give two scenarios. For the adults: it’s like living in an assisted living home, for the Students: it’s like living in an honors dorm. Another advantage to the move is that I’ll no longer have to take the shuttle up and down the mountain, I’ll be able to walk to work. Over all I am happy where I’m at right now. All the fanny packs, campers, road trippers and foreigners are really entertaining coming in and out of work. The people who I work with are a lot of fun, which makes work go by with a breeze.
The next two days are all mine to go out and have adventures. Tomorrow some friends and I are going to a place called Beckie’s in Union Creek. Beckie’s apparently has huckleberry pie, the best huckleberry pie. Tomorrow might also consist of some moving, but that is ok because in the time between pie and moving there is a possibility to get a good hike in, and or see some lava pits. Monday I have plans to go to Diamond Lake, which is suppose to be awesome and a much needed day of sun bathing.
