June 20

The past two days off have been days for adventuring. Yesterday I went snowshoeing up at the top of the mountain. The tour was guided by the National Park Service (NPS), so it was really educational and something new and different to try. It was funny to see people snowshoeing in shorts, there is still giant piles of snow, but the air is so warm. At work on friday I even saw people sled riding in shorts. Today was also a day for new things, my roommate, Jannelle, woke me up and made me breakfast. I look forward to breakfast up here so much more than in ohio because you get to have huckleberry syrup. Its so good. Jannelle and I went off the mountain and headed west towards the coast. We did some serious hiking and adventuring. We found some waterfalls, a couple creeks, giant boulders and ended our day at the rouge gorge beach. I got some sun burn, and I love it. I'm forecasting tomorrow to be a day of my third shift and laundry, and an open mind for anything else.

It is really hard to post pictures because of my connection, so instead of doing a picture of the day I am going to do a PICTURE OF THE POST
